Litera Announces Key Industry Hires In January
Litera announced today a number of key industry hires aimed at reinforcing Litera's position in the market as a leading provider of document lifecycle and transaction management solutions. These recent hires follow closely behind Tunji Williams, former CEO of DealWIP, Ian Kujawa, formerly with NetDocuments, and Judye Releford, formerly with BigHand. Many of the new hires are joining the company's growing transaction management team to establish and secure Litera's leading position in the deal management space. John Lofy joins as vice president of key accounts, having previously served as vice president of client management at HighQ and Thomson Reuters. Lofy will be responsible for leading Litera's key accounts program, driving their growth and retention and building strategic partnerships with the world's largest law firms. Also joining is Katrina Jasaitis, as director of adoption, having previously worked as a consultant at Foley & Lardner. Jasaitis will be responsible for creating and executing Litera's adoption strategy to enhance the customer experience and maximize their ROI. Joanne Woolford joins as lead strategic growth consultant for North America, having previously worked at the Practising Law Institute and HighQ. Woolford will be responsible for strategizing and planning adoption of the transaction management platform across firms. The company's growth can be attributed to legal's wide-scale adoption of Litera Desktop, with user numbers totaling more than 60,000, and the company's recent acquisitions of Workshare and Doxly, resulting in a globe-spanning transaction management offering.
Avaneesh Marwaha, Litera CEO, said, "Our strategy for being a truly global vendor is accomplished through hiring people with a wealth of experience and expertise in the legal technology field. We're experiencing exceptional growth right now and are finding that employees are more than willing to join a company that is expanding into new markets and actively investing in its workforce."
