Litera is thrilled to announce the latest updates to the Litera Drafting suite, designed to elevate your user experience. Our dedicated team has rolled out significant improvements across several key products, including Litera Create, Litera Compare, Metadact, and pdfDocs.

Litera Create – Document Assembly and Content Library Tool

Deeper Outlook Contacts Integration

We understand the importance of efficiency when it comes to accessing Outlook contacts while creating documents. That's why we've focused on making this process faster and more intuitive.

You’ll notice significantly improved load times when searching for and displaying contacts in public Outlook folders. Additionally, a new visual indicator alerts you if a request takes more than a few seconds to process, minimizing frustration. We've also refined how we handle fields like Job Titles and Companies for contacts, ensuring you have accurate information at your fingertips.

Centralized Admin Access Point

Managing Litera Create just got easier. We've consolidated the three separate administrative URLs into a single, centralized access point. This change not only saves your IT admins valuable time but also enhances security by providing a singular management location.

Enhanced Printing Experience

Printing documents without modifying originals is now more flexible and user-friendly. You can add or remove document letterhead at the time of printing without altering the original document formatting. Additionally, you can apply just-in-time draft or other stamps when printing, ensuring that the original document remains unchanged.

These improvements streamline the printing process, saving you time and reducing potential frustration.

Litera Compare – Document Comparison and Redlining Tool

Understanding which documents you’re comparing is now easier with Litera Compare. We've added the ability to adjust the width of the Original and Modified fields, allowing you to view the file names clearly. This small but significant enhancement ensures you can instantly recognize the documents being compared, reducing errors and improving efficiency.

Metadact – Document Metadata Cleaning Tool

Bulk Password Assignment

In response to customer feedback, we've made bulk password assignment admin-configurable. This flexibility ensures that only necessary functionalities are provided to users, enhancing security and usability.

Enhanced Document Password Visibility

When assigning passwords to a set of documents, you can now easily view the assigned password, preventing the risk of sharing incorrect passwords and ensuring a secure collaborative environment.

Improved Collaboration

Staying in context during email threads with attachments is now simpler. You can reply to all recipients with attachments, ensuring that everyone remains in the loop and improving overall collaboration.

Deeper iManage Integration

We've strengthened our integration with iManage, adding options to clean, convert, and combine documents directly from the right-click menu. These enhancements save you time and clicks, making document management more efficient.

Selective Metadata Cleaning

To enhance security, we've added the option to skip cleaning for password-protected documents only, while still cleaning unprotected documents from sensitive metadata. This ensures that sensitive information is safeguarded while maintaining overall document security.

Multiple Reports from Multiple Dashboards

With Metadact Analytics, available to Metadact Server subscribers, you can now generate multiple reports using various dashboards. This feature provides powerful insights into how your users interact with Metadact and share documents. When sharing these reports, the inclusion of a report link in the email streamlines the process, making reporting with stakeholders more efficient.

PdfDocs – PDF Workflows Tool

Extended iManage Integration

We’ve added the ability to export documents to Word and apply digital signatures directly from the right-click menu in iManage. This enhancement provides feature parity with DeskSite/FileSite and offers easily accessible options for users of iManage and pdfDocs.
