After careful consideration, we have made the decision to discontinue Top Performance. Customers with active contracts will continue to receive support from the Litera Support team until December 1, 2025. We recognize that transitioning away from enterprise software can be stressful and place a new burden on your organization to find a suitable replacement, so please contact us with any questions. 

End of Life Milestones for Top Performance


End of Life Announcement – June 28, 2024. The date of the announcement of end of life for Top Performance was shared with customers. Customers should work on offboarding from Top Performance.

End of Feature Development – July 13, 2024. The date of the last release of Top Performance. No further features will be developed, and the focus has shifted to maintenance and support before the End of Life and Support Date. 

End of Support Life/End of Life – December 1, 2025. The date customers can no longer receive support for Top Performance. On this date, all support services for the product are unavailable, and the product becomes obsolete. All customers must have their data offloaded from Top Performance before this date.

June 2024

Both Top Performance's current version (known as V3) and legacy version (known as V2) will be impacted and will no longer be supported after the End of Life and Support update. 

If you have additional questions about the End of Support for Top Performance, review our Litera Product Lifecycle Policy, and reach out to your local partner, Customer Success Manager, or Success@Litera.com. 

If you need to access performance reviews saved on Top Performance after December 1, 2025, you should export the historical performance reviews before the End of Life and Support date. You can begin exporting historical performance reviews directly by navigating to the Report Library in the application and: 

  • Selecting the relevant report from the library (e.g. Performance Review Summary) 
  • Configuring your filters (e.g. Process Name, Office|Dept|Position details) 
  • Generating the report 
  • Selecting the “Export” button and selecting “PDF” 

The report will be downloaded to your downloads folder where you can rename it accordingly (e.g., 2024 Attorney Performance Reviews). 

After December 1, 2025, Litera will no longer provide any support or updates for the product. This includes bug fixes and critical defects, as well as security and compliance measures. In addition, all Support options for the product will become unavailable after the End of Life and Support date. This includes phone support, email support, chat support, online support resources, related online knowledgebase articles, related online community posts, etc.
